FHNA Expands Boundaries and Amends Organizational Documents

The required number of members of the FHNA voted on June 4, 2009 to expand the boundaries of the Association to include all of Federal Heights. This area runs from south of Shriner's hospital to 100 South and from Virginia Ave/ University St east to the U. The map is available on this FHNA blog, scroll down for it and to review the amended Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws. Included in the amendments were some streamlining of the leadership which will take effect at the annual meeting in April 2010. There were some other wording changes to provide clarification.

Voting remains limited to one vote per address within the expanded boundaries, and only a property owner or trustee of an owning entity is eligible to vote. Becoming a voting member is as easy as emailing fedheights@yahoo.com with your name, address and phone number.
